This is my deep dive, reaction, analysis and breakdown of Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross singing his iconic ballad, “Endless Love,” this is such an iconic throwback of a performance. We got to hear some great ensemble singing meaning a very blended sound, phrasing and moving together, and matching of embellishments.

Mariah’s voice is so lovely and bright here, it stands out alongside Luther’s rich color. So much soul and great runs in this performance, I really enjoyed getting to break it down.
