Descent: Freespace is one of our favorite flight sims of all time, so we thought we'd have fun loading it back up for a runthrough!

What is awesome about Freespace is that the first game in the series was ported into the sequel, Freespace 2, through the fan-managed "Open Source Project", allowing us to play both games (as a serious amount of fan content) with modern graphics and effects. We chose to play the original game using these enhancements.

It looks pretty good for a game released way back in 1998!
