Many Magic cards have become iconic in their own right, often thanks to just how powerful they are. Sometimes, Wizards will look at these cards and decide to make a card very similar to them, often toning them down to try and make them more fair than their original versions. However, sometimes they go too far in nerfing these cards, giving us cards that are more pale imitations of the old cards as opposed to love letters to them. Today, we’re going to go over the absolute worst of these callback cards and explain why they fail to capture the magic of the original version
