If you are trying to extend a volume or partition in Windows and can't because the extend option is greyed out, it may be because there is another partition in the way. To extend a volume in Windows using Disk Managment, the volumes need to be side by side (contiguous) otherwise you will not be able to do it. Fortunately, you can use the Gparted tool that comes with the Rescuezilla app to extend your drive.
