Temari Balls and Matsue's Traditional Paper

Temari balls were once common toys made for kids to play with. You can find them everywhere in Japan but Matsue temari have a particularity: the balls are decorated with the region's traditional washi paper!You can learn how to decorate them in Matsue-style in a workshop close to Matsue castle!
