One of Heidt’s most popular Brunswick releases, though it was the Tommy Dorsey version that handily outsold all the rest. Among later recordings of the song, Patti Page had some success with her 1952 multi-tracked vocal effort and the 1960 doo-wop version by the Chimes reached #11 nationally.
