Our Mainship 34T Mk1 trawler, Starbird, anchors at the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve's Beaumont section in Bedwell Harbour, South Pender Island in early August 2023. This section of the park encompasses a stretch of shoreline and a trail up to the top of Mount Norman. The Park Reserve is made up of a number of locations in the southern Gulf Islands of coastal British Columbia. Park sections on the "bigger" islands can be accessed by ferry and road while, several smaller islands are accessible by private watercraft only.

This video also includes a visit to Mortimer Spit and a transit of the canal which separates North and South Pender.
