Hello, 朋友。這是我第一次嘗試從頭開始製作漢堡肉排。主要是想使用台灣的食材（來自好市多 和 傳統市場）來製作傳統的美式漢堡。我不是烤肉或漢堡專家，但我認為這將是一個很好的挑戰。

就像我的許多（創意）視頻一樣，如果您添加以下的複雜性：1-烹飪全新從原始材料做的東西，2-拍攝視頻 3-指導孩子怎麼幫忙，以及 4-開始製作的時間其實應該是，全家人已經吃飽晚餐的時間！！！這個過程感覺就像你在跑馬拉松接力賽！

幸運的我，有太太季芳願意支持並接受這新的挑戰。女孩們總是很願意配合，而且願意嘗試新的事物——並在任務完成前後全力的幫助（包括我們吃完飯後在廚房打掃善後）。

當全家耐心地而且帶著喜樂的態度，一起面對挑戰時，結果會更加甜美。
願我們學習為我們所擁有的一切（凡事謝恩），即使是，最簡單和基本的事物。願我們常常記得，我們一起走了多遠，學會在任何情況下都知足，並始終保持著對未來有積極的展望。 “ 9 兩個人總比一個人好，因為二人勞碌同得美好的果效。 ”傳道書 4:9

哦，關於我們手做的漢堡呢？......嗯......你可以在視頻中看到我們臉上的表情😊還不錯👍（提示 - 有酪梨醬和培根🥓加很多分！）。下次我會試著把漢堡肉排做得更大更薄一點，注意它們的煮熟的程度，並確保我不會不小心烤焦麵包或配料！哈哈！

Hello there, Friends!

This is the first time I attempted to make hamburger patties from scratch. The idea was to use ingredients available here in Taiwan (from Costco and the traditional market) to build a traditional American-style hamburger. I'm no BBQ or hamburger connoisseur, but I thought it would be a good challenge.

As with a lot of my "genius" video ideas, if you add in the complexity of of 1- cooking something completely new, 2- shooting a video 3- direction the rest of the family with their parts, and 4- starting all of this when the family should already be done eating!!! the process can feel like you're running a marathon relay!

I am blessed that my wife Christy is so supportive and willing to take on new challenges. And the girls are always good sports- willing to try new things- and help until the mission is complete (including cleaning up in the kitchen after we've finished eating).

When you patiently and joyfully work through challenges together, the results can be so much sweeter. May we learn to be grateful for what we have, even for the simple things. May we remember how far we've come along, learn to be content in all circumstances, and always keep a positive outlook for the future. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Oh, and the burgers turned out... well... you can see in the expressions on our faces in the video (Hint- there was guacamole and bacon!). Next time I'll try to make them a bit thinner, keep an eye on how cooked they are, and make sure I don't burn the buns or toppings! Ha!
