Lotus Bearer (1st Edition) (Hazy DIPA) | The Test Brewery | Beer Review |

In this review, I'm going to take a look at another beer from The Test Brewery, and it's their Lotus Bearer (1st Edition). This is a Hazy Double IPA that is brewed with Citra and Motueka hops. I was disappointed with their Sky Cathedral -- which was the first beer I ever had from Test -- so I'm hoping this one makes up for it. Will it? Let's find out!

Commercial Description:

Citra and Motueka on barley, wheat and oats.

Few hop combinations are as fun, arresting and evoke the need to contemplate the liquid in front of you as Citra and Motueka.

Playful notes of orange creamsicles create a sense of beginner's mind, snapping us back to our childhood. Aromatic, exotic citrus reminds us not to lose sight of the good in this world.

Most of the credit for the extraordinary caliber of this particular beer goes to the quality of the hops themselves. As we continue to strengthen our bonds with hop growers and suppliers, both American and further afield, it seems clear to us that their products make us look good.
