This video is about three exciting pieces of kit, the big Claas Xerion 5000, the Vaderstad Tempo L precision drill and in front of that the new Grange Machinery 6m LDT, low disturbance toolbar.

After doing my Claas 8900 video and getting 600,000 views I thought I'd film another biggest and best Claas machine the Xerion 5000. This 500 horse power leviathan can not only get it's power down but it turns sharply and without cutting up the land like some of these big machines can do.

Two large farming businesses were working together here with the machinery belonging to Rockscape and the land to R.J & A.E Godfrey a customer of mine and thank you to Will for allowing me to film the day.

At the start you'll see footage shot on my iPhone 12 and again near the end.
In between theres lots of close ups where I am flying at 1 meter away to get those very close fly bys of that Xerion working, also some nice close up shots with the Osmo Action of the Grange LDT lifting the soil and leaving the surface smooth.

The 6 mtr LDT adds a loosening system to machines that are already on farm allowing farmers to enhance their current cultivation and drilling system while cutting out the separate passes and keeping establishment costs down.
The LDT has ability to quickly lift/lower the cultivating legs converting from a 6m working width down to a 3m machine during headland turns without affecting the trailed setup, this makes the machine very versatile and frequently used transforming infield operations.

The Vaderstad Tempo L behind the LDT was doing an excellent job precision drilling oil seed rape straight into stubble. It would have left an even smoother surface if the field hadn't been subsoiled in places beforehand.

Also big thanks to Jonny 1388 a fellow YouTube who was driving the Xerion, for helping set the Osmo Action on the Vaderstad and keeping an eye on it and not knocking it off while tight turning.
