Speaking at FAN EXPO San Francisco 2025, Wilson said that while he and his cast members had a lot of fun while filming, he still wishes he could have enjoyed the experience even more during production.

He said, “It’s something that I’ve shared with a number of Office members… that one of our regrets is that we didn’t enjoy it more.”

Wilson explained, “You work so hard as an actor and you’re broke forever and you’re getting little roles and then all of a sudden like when your break hits, you want to make the most of it… All of a sudden I had opportunities to, you know, star in movies and develop other TV shows and get production deals and do commercial campaigns. And sometimes you could be so focused on these other aspects of your career that the greatest job that you'll ever have is in your lap, and you kind of neglect just really savoring how special and rich that experience is."
