Virgo is a constellation in the Northern Hemisphere that was seen by the Babylonians represented as a goddess in the sky. Its three decans, Coma, Centaurus, and Bootes, were also seen in the night sky, and each has its own unique story. Coma is a constellation that symbolizes a woman with a child in her arms, Centaurus is a half man, half horse figure, and Bootes is a giant hunter holding a club.
Whats a decan? why are these 3 constellations tied to each other? I thought these were pagan signs?
