Step inside one of Egypt's most treasured Christian landmarks, the Hanging Church in Coptic Cairo. Built above the ancient Roman Babylon Fortress, this peaceful sanctuary has welcomed worshippers for well over a thousand years.

The attention to detail with the carved wooden pulpit, the icons, and the peaceful and welcoming courtyards reflects Egypt's deep and diverse spiritual history. This was definitely a memorable stop in Coptic Cairo, and I look forward to visiting again in 2026.
