Build your own DIY PEX Unspooler to save HUNDREDS of $$$

I’m installing hydronic heating in the floor of my speech shop, which means I need to uncoil hundreds of feet of PEX Tubing. I looked into the cost of purchasing an uncoiler, and the prices are freaking ridiculous. So I decided to build one instead.

I have a shopping list included in the video for all of the things you will need, but the truth is you probably have quite a bit of it at home already. I used culled lumber to save some money. It doesn’t have to be pretty, it only has to work. Once I’m done with it I will disassemble it and reuse the plywood for another project.

My total cost was just a little over $60.

This is a super easy afternoon project but you can do, provided you have a little bit of a brain, and know how to work a saw and a screw drill.
