Khalil’s Expansion reflects his workflow – taking the art of sampling to fresh, boutique content for full control that retains its vintage roots. He also invited us on a deep-dive into his rare synth collection to multi-sample some one-of-a-kind gear and capture its current condition. Hard-hitting, live drums, looped and chopped melodies, and Khalil’s sound-design wizardry make it a hip-hop Expansion unlike any other.
