Jeffrey Dean Morgan broke both his feet making "The Walking Dead"

In March, Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed in Twitter replies to fans that he had broken a foot "ages ago" while working on "TWD." He didn't realize it was broken for a while and had continued working.

At the show's finale event red carpet, I asked Morgan what had happened with his foot for Insider. While losing his voice, he told me he had broken both of his feet, saying, "I think I had, honestly, just shoes that weren't very good and just jumping, landing a few times." Morgan said it "started off as kind of nothing, a hairline fracture," but continued to get worse. He said the bones in his heel aren't smooth anymore.

He planned to get surgery after "TWD" wrapped at the end of March and before starting work on his spin-off, "TWD: Dead City," this summer. But he went to Spain to shoot a commercial and wound up needing surgery for a hernia. Morgan told us he's doing "good" now.
