Once upon a time, in a beautiful green jungle, there lived a bright green parrot named Mithu. He was cheerful, talkative, and full of mischief. His feathers shone like emeralds, and his red beak was always busy—either talking, laughing, or eating guavas!
Mithu had many friends in the forest—Chinni the sparrow, Golu the elephant, Bittu the monkey, and Meena the peacock. One fine morning, Mithu announced, “My friends, I’ve decided to get married!” The entire jungle buzzed with excitement. Everyone loved Mithu, and the news of his wedding spread like wildfire.
The animals gathered near the banyan tree to plan the grand celebration.
The elephant offered, “I’ll carry the wedding guests on my back.”
The peacock said proudly, “I’ll dance to welcome the bride!”
The monkey jumped with joy, “I’ll decorate the trees with flowers and mango leaves!”
Even the river fish sang, “We’ll splash our tails to make music!”
Soon, preparations began in full swing. The birds collected colorful petals, the rabbits made garlands, and the squirrels gathered fruits and nuts for the feast. Mithu’s bride-to-be was a lovely parrot named Rani, who lived near the mango grove. She was graceful, kind, and had the sweetest voice in the whole forest.
Finally, the wedding day arrived! The sun shone brightly, and the forest looked more beautiful than ever. Flowers bloomed, butterflies danced, and even the wind hummed a happy tune. Mithu wore a crown made of jasmine flowers, while Rani wore a delicate garland of rose petals.
The wise old owl was the priest for the ceremony. He cleared his throat and began, “With the blessings of the forest, let Mithu and Rani be joined in love and harmony forever.” Everyone cheered, chirped, and clapped their wings.
After the ceremony, the real fun began! The peacock spread his colorful feathers and danced gracefully, while the monkeys played the drums made of hollow logs. The rabbits and deer clapped in rhythm, and the parrots sang love songs. It was the happiest day the forest had ever seen.
A grand feast followed—fresh fruits, nuts, and berries were served on banana leaves. Mithu and Rani shared a guava together, laughing and blushing as the others teased them. Even the sky seemed to smile with soft pink clouds.
When the sun set, the fireflies lit up the forest like tiny lanterns. Mithu thanked all his friends for their love and help. “This wedding wasn’t just mine,” he said warmly, “it belonged to all of us. Because love, friendship, and togetherness make life truly beautiful.”
The owl nodded wisely, “Remember, little parrot, the happiest life is one shared with others.”
From that day onward, Mithu and Rani built their nest together in the mango grove. Every morning, their sweet voices filled the forest with joy, reminding everyone that happiness grows when it’s shared.
Moral: True happiness lies in love, unity, and friendship.
