'Shelburne Green', composed by Cam Millar (Trpt duet version)

Описание к видео 'Shelburne Green', composed by Cam Millar (Trpt duet version)

'Shelburne Green' was written in celebration of 115 years of concerts by the Hagerstown Municipal Concert Band, MD, and 50 years under the baton and direction of Lynn Lerew. It premiered in August 4, 2024 on the stage of the Peter Buys Bandshell in City Park, Hagerstown MD.

The music was inspired by the majesty and beauty of horses living and running free in the wild.

Note for Conductors: at the 2:25 mark in the music, there is a reflective duet passage with clarinet background. This version of the piece is the Trumpet Duet Solo version.
There is also a version scored for Flute Duet Solo, which can be performed by two solo flutes or the two flute sections. They play the same music, but the mood becomes much more 'reflective' due to the timbre and nature of the flutes, versus the 'stallion-esque' mood of the two trumpets.
