FRESH REGISTRATION FOR CM ADVOCATES WELFARE SCHEME

All the practicing advocates who are enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi and who also are electors of NCT of Delhi are hereby informed that under the Standard Operation Protocol (SOPs) of Chief Minister Advocates Welfare Scheme (CMAWS). The portal www.cmaws.dehi.gov.in will be opened from 1st of January to 15 of January, 2025 for fresh registration under the Term insurance and Medical insurance under Chief Minister Advocates' Welfare Scheme for availing benefits of Group (Term) Life Insurance providing life cover of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh only) and Group Medi-Claim Insurance coverage for Advocates and his/her spouse and two dependent children up to the age of 25 years, for family floater sum assured of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh) for the current policy periods.

It is clarified that all those advocates who had earlier applied for registration in the year 2023 and 2024 under the scheme, need not apply afresh. In case the advocates who have already registered themselves under this scheme, wishes to update any credentials in respect of their earlier registration may update/correct the same on the CMAWS portal i.e. www.cmaws.dehi.gov.in (as per provisions of SOP of CMAWS). 'The updated credentials are also required to be sent through E-mail to the Law Department on [email protected] for necessary processing it is only after the request of updation/correction is received in Law Department, the same can be processed further by the Department. The list of advocates who are already covered under the Current policies under the Chief Minister Advocate Welfare Scheme is available on the abovementioned website
