This is a video about how to Repair Broken Switches on a Car Key Fob. In this case it was a simpler fix due to broken switches and broken solder connections after 28 years of use.
Also tried to remove the car alarm switch and move it to the door lock switch position as that switch was broken, but it fell apart when I did.

Information: This Nissan key fob was primarily in use from 1995 to 1999, specifically for models like the Nissan Maxima, Infiniti I30, QX4 and some others. It was also compatible with the 1997 Nissan Altima and Pathfinder, as well as other Nissan models like the 200SX, 240SX, Frontier, Sentra, and Quest within those years.

End result: This fix worked, when we tried it on the car the fob does lock and unlock the car doors now.
