REDCAR | Full seafront beach tour of Redcar, North Yorkshire, England!

We visit Redcar seafront for a walk along Redcar beach and promenade to see what is there. We walk from the lifeboat museum to Redcar beacon and onto the regent theatre and towards Redcar bandstand.

Redcar is a seaside town on the North Yorkshire coast just a few miles from Middlesbrough and we thought we'd have a walk along the seafront in Redcar to see what this town is like and if it's a good place for a seaside holiday this summer!

Redcar has a vast beach, amusement arcades, a vertical pier known as the Redcar Beacon, fish and chips shops, the worlds oldest lifeboat in the lifeboat museum and lots more!

Redcar is well known for the Zetland lifeboat.
Numerous ships have foundered off the Redcar coastline and many of their wrecks still exist. The Zetland is the world's oldest surviving lifeboat. It was built by Henry Greathead of South Shields and is housed in a volunteer-lead sea-front museum. The lifeboat was first stationed at Redcar in 1802.

Redcar is a seaside town on the Yorkshire Coast in Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire. It is located 7 miles east of Middlesbrough.

Redcar has a racecourse, where flat turf horse racing takes place.
