The sculpture "Ali and Nino," also known as "Man and Woman," is a towering artwork standing at a height of 8 meters in Batumi, Georgia. Unveiled in 2010, this steel kinetic sculpture was brought to life by artist Tamara Kvesitadze, drawing inspiration from Kurban Said's renowned novel "Ali and Nino," published in 1937.

Said's novel narrates the tale of love between Ali Shervanshir, a Muslim man from Azerbaijan, and Nino Kipiani, a Christian girl from Georgia. Their passionate romance reaches a tragic conclusion as Ali loses his life while defending his homeland against the Russian Army during 1918–1920. Symbolizing their enduring bond, the statues of the two lovers gracefully move towards each other, briefly embracing, only to remain separated once again. This poignant process unfolds over a span of 10 minutes.
