I'm SO excited to show you how to transform plain, boring lamps into absolutely stunning blue and white ginger jar masterpieces! You guys, I found these at Goodwill for just $9.49 EACH—can you believe it? There were two of them, and I grabbed them both! This is one of those projects where you can create something that looks like it came straight from a high-end home decor store for just pennies on the dollar.
If you love blue and white décor (and honestly, who doesn't?), this tutorial is for you! I'm using gorgeous transfers from Amazon that aren't expensive at all—we're talking birds, butterflies, flowers, branches—just beautiful chinoiserie-style designs that completely transform these lamps. And the best part? You can find lamps like this at Goodwill, thrift stores, or even in your own home just waiting for a makeover!
This project works on ginger jars, regular jars, carafes, vases—literally anything with a similar shape. The technique is the same, and the results are always spectacular. Whether you keep them for yourself or give them as gifts, these lamps are absolutely show-stopping.
In this video, I'm also sharing some bonus projects using Dollar Tree calendars that you can turn into adorable little books with transfers, vintage pinup girls, and funny sarcastic sayings. These make INCREDIBLE craft fair items and gifts—people go crazy for them!

SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED:
For Ginger Jar Lamps:

Ginger jar lamp (from thrift stores, Goodwill, or TJ Maxx/HomeGoods)
Krylon Paint + Primer in Heirloom White (spray paint)
Bonding Boss primer
White acrylic paint for base coat
Blue and white transfers (Amazon or IOD transfers)
Transfer tool or credit card
Mod Podge or sealer
Stickles glitter glue (optional, for accents)
UV resin (optional, for glossy finish)
Sandpaper (if needed for prep)
Paintbrushes
