The meeting was held with NATO Military Committee in the Ministry of Defence today. Following the meeting the sides informed media representatives about the discussed issues. Later on, Minister of Defence and General Knud Bartels answered the questions of journalists.
Minister of Defence of Georgia answered the questions about interoperability of Georgian army with NATO: "we are grateful to NATO for their support in implementation of our reforms. The most important assistance provided by NATO, alongside assistance in military trainings and transformation area, related to the initiatives about increasing transparency of defence budget and accountability towards the society and Parliament. NATO advices us to share these reforms with other countries having the deficit of such experience.
