⛳️ First Swing. New Beginnings. ⛳️
For over 30 years, the *First Swing Golf Event* has been a cherished tradition — bringing together individuals with limb loss, rehabilitation professionals, and volunteers for a day of adaptive sports, community, and personal growth.

Hosted at Charleston Springs Golf Course in 2025, this event is one of our favorite days of the year — and for the first time, we’re giving you an inside look at what makes it so special.

🎓 The morning began with a continuing education seminar led by *Lou Namm* of the *Eastern Amputee Golf Association* and *Jean Manfredi* of **Manfredi O&P Affiliates**. Local rehabilitation professionals earned CEU credits while learning adaptive techniques they’d later apply out on the driving range with participants.

🏌️ In the afternoon, those lessons came to life — and so did the joy. Swings were taken, connections were made, and everyone involved had an absolute blast.
