This here is a blip of the 30+ hour-long process of restoring the bandsaw we bought back in December. It’s a 27-inch 980lb ~1910 American Sawmill Company bandsaw that had been sitting unused in a nearby blacksmith shop since 1981 and required brazing repairs to the upper wheel sleeve bearing, as well as new guards. We’ll be using it to process small lumber, make handle blanks, and cut curves.
