Woodturning a HEART into a Galaxy!

Woodturning this incredible Thuya burl plate using deep pour epoxy resin with chameleon style mica powder to further enhance it’s look. Thuya burl has a very strong intense smell so it did not take long to spread the smell around the workshop. I used
my deep pour epoxy resin to cast the burl in resin then it was time to go on the woodturning lathe to shape. Sanded to 3000 grit then was polished to high gloss finish.
