My name is Bill and this is my Guitar Instrumental Cover of Gabriel’s Oboe – Ennio Morricone.
Gabriel’s Oboe is the main theme from the film called The Mission which was released in 1986.
Although an iconic instrumental tune, there is a vocal version called Nella Fantasia – originally sung by Sara Brightman and this has been sung by so many famous singers.

I recorded this tune using a Shure SM57 microphone right up to the amp and played it on my Fender Stratocaster Special Edition with 11-49 NYXL strings by D'addario.
Video recorded using Panasonic HD camcorder with a green screen background and edited with Corel Video Studio Ultimate 2019. Sound through Line 6 Helix HX Effects and edited with Audacity.
