I'm photographing my first "destination wedding!" I'm actually traveling to photograph and wedding in Asheville, North Carolina and Jesse and I have decided to make a weekend trip out of it. We had so much fun hanging out in Asheville in the fall (perfect weather!!) and spending time together.

I actually was the second photographer for this wedding. I contacted an amazing photographer who was looking for someone to be her second and I am so glad this worked out. This was a husband and wife team - he did video and she did photos. They were absolutely amazing! They have so much experience and operate on such a high level that it was just a fun learning experience for me. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and the picture turned out so good! I'm so excited to be working with them again in December.

In addition to photographing this amazing mountain wedding, Jesse and I got to spend the weekend together. We went a watched a movie, which is one of our favorite things to do together, and also went hiking in Asheville. There are so many great hiking place, but we decided to do the Catawba Falls trail. It's only 3 miles roundtrip up a waterfall and it was so gorgeous! The weather and the views were just perfect.

What I took away from this experience - I want to travel for more weddings!!
