Hermione and Harry are thrown into the inside of the Whomping Willow through a shaft in the trunk.
They quickly realize that they are inside the Shrieking Shack.
When they find Ron, he warns them about an Animagus. It turns out that the Animagus is actually Sirius Black.
After Harry wrestles Sirius to the ground, Professor Lupin appears and disarms Harry. Sirius and Lupin seem to know each other. Harry suspects Sirius of killing his parents. However, Sirius claims that it was not him but Peter Pettigrew, and that Peter is also in the room.

Who betrayed Harry’s parents? Sirius Black or Peter Pettigrew?
