Canada India Tech Council Event Panel on "Creating a Culture of Innovation"
The Canada India Tech Council (CITC) successfully hosted CITC Connect, an exclusive event in Toronto on November 30, 2023, featuring a panel on "Creating a Culture of Innovation" within the tech industry. The event brought together 150+ Indo-Canadian technology leaders, and executives and featured a Thought Leadership Exchange, where panelists, Sanjay Tugnait, President & CEO at Fairfax Digital Services; Sanjeev Gill, AVP Innovation at University of Waterloo and Anu Dodda, CTO at Thomson Reuters; moderated by Kundan Joshi, CEO at TheAppLabb, delved into key topics such as cultivating a culture of innovation in organizations, adapting to the fast-paced evolution of emerging technologies, and the effective use of AI for revenue growth, cost efficiency and process optimization. The discussions also covered the critical balance between innovation and ROI, regulatory compliance, privacy, security, data ownership, and ethical considerations.

The event was further honored by the presence of Mr. Siddhartha Nath, Consul General of India, Toronto, who provided support for CITC, and valuable insights on the crucial need to strengthen the bonds between Canada and India within the technology industry.
