Welcome to Episode 9 (Part 1) of the Riverbend Springs 4x series in Farming Simulator 25!

This episode marks the beginning of a huge onion expansion project, so it will be split into two parts due to its size.

We start by purchasing the paper factory, which also produces wood planks, adding another strong production chain to the farm.

Next, I invest in a massive 25-hectare onion field. Since onions are extremely profitable, this field will play a major role in the future of the farm.
To handle such a large harvest, I begin testing two different harvesting methods:

First, using a tractor setup that cuts the tops and lifts the onions onto the ground

Then, I purchase the onion harvester machine that picks them up from the ground

To support logistics, I also upgrade transport:

Bought an additional 98,000L trailer

Created a truck-train setup with two trailers for a total capacity of 196,000 liters

To prepare for large-scale onion production, I purchase new land near the field where I plan to place:

A silo for onion storage

An onion bagging machine

A large machinery shed to store all the new equipment
