The autonomous Mahajyoti institution of Maharashtra State other backward class (wellfare) department has announced to give MJPRF to PhD students of OBC, NT, ST, and SBC on background of BARTI, SARTHI institutes.
UGC, SARTHI and BARTI institutions pay fellowship stipend Rs. 31,000/- per month and Rs. 35,000/- per month for JRF and SRF respectively. But, notice published on date 10/04/2021, fellowship is going to be given by Mahajyoti Institutions for MJPRF is Rs. 20,000/- per month which is not co-relating with rules of UGC, SARTHI & BARTI. It is injustice with the research students.

ABVP have asked many necessary demands related research student scholarships. Addition to this, MJPRF scholarship should also be given as per guidelines by UGC, like SARTHI, BARTI. Students pursuing degree M.Phil should also be given scholarship just like students of research of PhD. An
advertisement should be published for Post Doctorate Fellowship (PDF) like other institutions SARTHI, BARTI. 150 seats are only vacant for scholarship students which seems less, it needs to be increased.

ABVP State Secretory Siddheshwar Latpate demands to make necessary changes to Mahajyoti institution in their rules and regulation for Research Scholarships as per guidelines of UGC.

Also he asks immediate action to be taken looking at students benefit.
