On Saturday, October 1st, 2016 from 3pm to 6pm, we opened our doors to all our patients, their families and friends for our second Your Wellness Matters Day!

We had have presentations on holistic care by renowned holistic practitioners, along with some special surprises! The theme for this event was “TOXICITY: It’s Everywhere…and How to Rid it From Your Life.”

One of Our Presenters:
Dr. Gerald Buchoff, Holistic Pet Care, received his pre-vet B.S. degree and an M.S. in Immunology from Rutgers University. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (BVScAH) from G.B. Pant University in India.

He has completed numerous courses in alternative modalities including homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, BEMER technology, aromatherapy, Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (chiropractic), acupuncture, glandular nutritional therapy, cold laser therapy, aromatherapy, and Reiki.

Before opening up Holistic Pet Care animal hospital in Little Falls, NJ, Dr. Buchoff owned and operated North Bergen Animal Hospital in North Bergen, NJ for almost 20 years.

Professionally, Dr. Buchoff served four years as President of the Northern New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and as Vice President and President of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (2002-2006).

You may see him on reruns of The Pet Stop (News 12 NJ-TV), which he hosted for 50 episodes. He has been featured in newspapers, magazines, and on television and radio. He often lectures on aromatherapy, including a lecture at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine recently.
