The Role:

As Sr. Security Architect, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic guidance, though leadership, and expertise focused on making the service provider's global network infrastructure as secure as possible. You'll be handling engineering initiatives to plan, review, and audit the network and networking platforms to identify vulnerabilities and implement solutions, best practices, and policies. It is a strategic role ... as you be the "security leader" and subject matter expert. The role will also be involved in with PCI and HIPAA compliance. This will include policies, and leading the periodic corporate compliance audits and certification, working with third party auditing firms as needed. The Architect will also evaluate new security products and technologies for adoption, and will participate in incident response.

Requirements:

Must have 10+ years experience in the network security and information security fields, with 3+ years as a Security Architect, Network Architect or similar roles.
Must also have good knowledge of IP networking, TCP/IP, IPSec, SSL, BGP
Must have hands-on experience with a wide variety of firewalls, switches, routers, IPD/IPS
Experience in PCI-DSS regulatory, policies, and compliance is a big plus
Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, Perl) is preferred, to help automate tasks.
