My name is Steve Smith. I am a marketing and entrepreneurship teacher in North Carolina and this is a video lesson for my high school Entrepreneurship classes. I ask 7 questions.

1. What were your plans when you left high school?
2. What is your elevator pitch?
3. Who is your target customer?
4. How do you price your products?
5. What are your key metrics?
6. What’s your most effective promotion strategy?
7. What is a problem you need to solve for your business?

My students watch this on Monday at the start of class and then they have until Friday to compose a solution. I will be doing a followup video with each business to go over the solutions and discuss if they could work or not.
