Carpet Call actually originated in Queensland, at an Alderley store, by Jim Smith who's still the managing director of the company, and imports products from all over the world, from Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, America, the States, wherever we can find quality. We were one of the first in the country to have engineered timber floorings. We've got Australian species, imported species, we've got exotic species, such as Jarrah and mahoganies. We have professional installers, or you can do it yourself. Also we have the Parador range of laminate planking, which is a German product that we've had for many, many years. It's been very, very good. We have their introductory line from Universal, which is made in Belgium. One of the latest floorings to come out is vinyl planking, PVC planking, which you can glue down or just lay flat. We also have Gerflor, which is a French product, that comes in a roll but can be laid over any reasonably level floor. The newer fibres are very good these days, you even see them used in hospitals carpeting now. They're strain free, fade free, very good for allergies, could very easily maintain, static-free, which means that when you vacuum the dust mite will come out. They come in a selection of colours and styles. Most people think of synthetics as being a harsh product, but these new type fibres, they're smooth, very soft, very velvety. From there we move to, obviously, woollen carpets, which have all the fibres come from New Zealand, and as wool's been around it's the naturally good product. The latest venture for Carpet Call is their mega blinds section, it's just fairly new but we've got very experienced people, and installers, and it comes in a range of UV blinds, Venetian blinds, Roman blinds, verticals, and all your plantation shutters.
