कोरबा शहर से लगभग 34 कि.मी. और बिलासपुर शहर से लगभग 130 कि.मी. दूर बांगो रिसर्वायर में सतरेंगा गांव पे स्थित है यह झील जो खुबसूरत पहाड़ो से घिरा हुआ है। इस झील का आनन्द लेने लोग बड़ी दूर - दूर से आते है। यहां पहुंचने पर सबसे पहले आपको दुर से ही एक खुबसुरत महादेव पहाड़ का नजारा दिखेगा जो इस जगह का एक दर्शनीय स्‍थल है जहां बहुत सारे लोग इस नेचुरल ब्‍युटी की फोटो भी लेते जाते हैं, इसके अलावा आपको यहां एक 1400 साल पुराना साल वृक्ष (Soreya Robasta) भी देखने को मिलेगा, जो आपको सतरेंगा गांव की बस्‍ती से लगभग 500 मी. की दूरी पर दिखेगी। 
यहां खुबसुरत गार्डनो का निर्माण, रेस्‍ट हाउस, वाटर स्‍पोर्टस और टिकिटिंग की भी व्‍यवस्‍था की गयी है, यहां एक कैन्‍टिन एरिया भी बनाया गया है, जहां तरह - तरह के खाने की चीजें आपको देखने व खाने को मिलेंगी यह दुकाने महिला समुह द्वारा चलाई जाती है, जिनसे उनको काम और टुरिस्‍ट्स के लिए एक अच्‍छा टुअर अनुभव मिल पाता हैं।
 इस श्रृंखला में, सतरेंगा के स्थानीय निवासियों को पावर मोटर बोट की ड्राइविंग और सुरक्षा से संबंधित प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है। यहाँ बोटिंग, स्पीड बोटिंग, फ्लोटिंग रेस्टोरेंट, ओपन एयर ऑडिटोरियम और रिसॉर्ट आदि सहित पर्यटन गतिविधियां शुरू की गयी है। पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने  के लिए यहां क्रूज, फ्लोटिंग कॉटेज के निर्माण के साथ-साथ अन्य साहसिक और वाटर स्पोर्ट्स गतिविधियां भी शुरू की गयी है।
वैसे तो यहां लोगो की भीड़ फैमिली और दोस्‍तों के साथ पिकनिक या बोटिंग, नेचर कैम्‍पिंग के लिए ही होती है, पर रेस्‍ट हाउस बन जाने के बाद लोग यहां रूककर प्रकृति के बीच रहकर अपने फैमिली के साथ समय व्‍यतीत कर पाते है
