Interview with actress Cécile de France - 37th Braunschweig International Film Festival

Belgium actress Cécile de France received the "Europa" award for her achievements in European cinema at the 37th ‪@FilmfestBraunschweig‬ on November 11, 2023. Prior to the award ceremony I had a chance to record this interview with her. We talked for example about her upcoming film "Dans l'eau", her career and if she want to be a director in the future. She also talks about what it was like to work with Clint Eastwood on the film "Hereafter", which also starred Matt Damon.

In 2018, Cécile de France was part of the International Jury of the Berlinale in Berlin under Jury President Tom Tykwer.

Die belgische Schauspielerin Cécile de France erhielt am 11. November 2023 auf dem 37. @FilmfestBraunschweig die "Europa" für ihre Verdienste um die europäische Filmkultur. Vor der Preisverleihung hatte ich die Gelegenheit, dieses Interview mit ihr aufzunehmen. Wir sprachen unter anderem über ihren kommenden Film "Dans l'eau", ihre Karriere und ob sie in Zukunft als Regisseurin arbeiten möchte. Außerdem erzählt sie, wie es war, mit Clint Eastwood an dem Film "Hereafter" zu arbeiten, in dem auch Matt Damon mitspielte.

Im Jahr 2018 war Cécile de France unter Jurypräsident Tom Tykwer Teil der Internationalen Jury der Berlinale in Berlin.
