The Max Planck Institute for Informatics is one of the leading computer science research institutions in Germany. It is part of the Max Planck Society, Germany’s premier research organization. The goal of the Institute is to advance foundational research and drive innovation in key areas of computer science.

In this short video series, we introduce each department and IRG at our institute and invite the respective director or group leader to talk about their work and why it matters. The Internet Architecture department was founded in 2017 and is led by Professor Anja Feldmann. In this video, she explains how the department uses internet measurements to explore operational, security, and societal aspects of the internet.
