Silver Lake East-El Dorado Campground Tour (July 2022)

Here's an updated tour in 2022 of Silver Lake East-ElDorado Campground in El Dorado National Forest, CA. This campground is located in El Dorado County, CA adjacent to Silver Lake at elevation of 7200 ft.

The campground is open from mid May to early October depending on weather and snow condition. There are 62 sites available (all no hookup). A few of the sites are reserved for first-come-first-serve basis. Reservation can be made on recreation.gov a month in advance. Look for the name 'Silver Lake East-Eldorado' as there are a lot of campground with the same name on recreation.gov.

Campground has vault toilets, piped water and each site has picnic tables, grills, fire rings, and bear boxes.
