Have you been following along the twists and turns of this murder trial? Join me as I watch the verdict for Trinity Madison Poague, who is accused of murdering her boyfriend's son, Romeo "Jaxton Drew/JD" Angeles. Poague, who was 18 at the time of the baby's death, is alleged to have killed JD when he was only 18 months old. Why do investigators think she did it? Doctors ruled the cause of death was the fatal skull fracture injury, which had to have happened within a short window of time before the baby was brought into the hospital due to the nature of the bleeding. The father of the child can prove where he was at this time. In this timespan, the baby was being watched by the girlfriend. Plus, the girlfriend had texted not only the boyfriend, but also her roommate previously about essentially resenting having to be the step parent to the baby. Also, the baby had more than one injury - multiple bruises, the skull fracture, as well as a laceration to his liver. Last, but not least, the doctors believe the injury could only come from blunt force trauma that could not have happened by a simple fall as the defense claims. Will the jury find her guilty? Let's find out...
