If you’re facing a tough exposure, there’s an alternative to fighting it in Lightroom. Sure, you could use Tone and Curves and localized adjustments, but that takes time and doesn’t always work.

Instead, you can just try to kick the RAW File over to AURORA HDR (Transfer - Plug-in Extras - Transfer to Aurora HDR) and let it solve things. This approach is really Expanded the Dynamic Range photography; the IMAGE IS MAXIMIZED from a single raw photo.

AURORA HDR analyzes an image and creates a NEW FANTASTIC IMAGE based on Artificial Intelligence. Using HDR Basic tab in AURORA HDR you can continue to refine it:
Smart Tone helps to move exposure without changing colors;
HSL controls adjust a particular area;
Polarizing Filter brings out a blue sky;
Adjustable Gradient allows to effect at top and bottom of the image separately.

When everything is done just click an “Apply” button - and a high-quality image will return back to your LightRoom. Anything else you wanna do inside of LightRoom is still there - just jump to a Develop module.
