Ho ho ho! It's that time of the year again! Our Game Designers - Thi and Kurt...or rather, Elfbert - are here to talk to you about this year's Forge of Empires Winter Event!

Back from previous years, we only see better things this time around! A visitor from the north has come seeking your help, and with every quest that you complete, you'll get precious Winter Stars. 10 of these stars can be used to open one present, which could contain any one of many fantastic rewards, such as the brand new goods-producing Charming Cottage, or the compact multi production Sleigh Builder!

Among the presents, you can find hidden three special tiles: The Show Two, which will reveal the rewards hidden inside the two unopened presents. The Times Two, which will double the contents of your next present! And the Shuffle, which will give you a new sets of wrapped rewards to choose from.

With every present you open, you'll find a single matchstick, which you can use to light candles on the Winter Tree! Lighting all the candles will reward you with the extra special exclusive grand prize! These are upgrade kits for the brand new Winter Spire building, which, when upgraded, produces a huge assortment of resources, including Forge Points, goods, and a defense boost. Watch out for upgrades to the Watchfire and Victory Tower as well!
