Join the whole Salty Reflections crew for family fun weekend celebrating our nation's birthday - July 4th, 2025! We (Oliver & Stephanie) decorate for the July 4th holiday with our 5 grandchildren (Olivia, Emma Lynn, Odie, Harper & Krisleigh). Then beat the heat on the gigantic blow-up waterslide & in the community pool! We bait our crab pots so we can go crabbing with these kiddos. We take a boat ride to set out 4 crab traps to catch blue crab. The festivities continue with a street dance and concert by Rylan James. The rest of the Salty Reflections crew {our 3 sons (Daniel, Christopher & Zachary) & our 3 daughter-in-loves (Regina, Jammie & Britney)} join us for the rest of the family fun weekend! We watch the cornhole tournament, meet a real-life pirate, get balloon animals made with Ozzy, dance in the kid walks & adult walks for prizes, continue to enjoy the blow-up waterslide & pool, eat yummy ice cream & the village hot dog lunch. We check our crab traps & clean the catch. Owens gets pinched by a blue crab!! Learn how to make a crab let go when it's pinching you! We continue to decorate with a sidewalk chalk display & bedazzled golf cart. Zac checks in on Oliver cooking crab & learn what we use to season our seafood boils. Refresh ourselves & neighbors with a water balloon fight during the annual July 4th Golf Cart Parade. Later we continue the seafood feast with a delicious Frogmore Stew, aka Lowcountry Boil, Shrimp Boil, Seafood Boil. Whatever you may call it, it was absolutely scrumptious & filled our bellies before we headed out to the Tokyo Joe concert for a dance party with the whole neighborhood.
