Описание к видео Five Shaolin Masters(1974)-"The Five Heart Beats of Shaolin"

This was another historical kung fu classic from Shaw Brothers Studios. There were a supposed 8 Shaolin Masters that escaped Shaolin Temple when it was burned down, the most popular 3 were, Fang Shih Yu, Hong Xi Guan and Hu Huei-Chien. The other five folklore heroes starred in this movie, Alexander Fu Sheng( Ma Chao-Hsing), Ti Lung(Tsai Te-Chung), Chi Kuan-Chun(Li Shih-Kai), David Chiang Da-Wei(Hu Te-Ti) and Mang Fei(Fang Ta-Hung). These same 8 Chinese Folklore Heroes, would also be a pivotal topic in the 1976 kung fu classic, "Shaolin Temple". Little is documented about the five in this movie but all five were soldiers before they became Shaolin Students and masters. Fang Shih Yu, Hong Xi Guan and Hu Huei-Chen were all lamen, meaning they had no military background before they became Shaolin Students. And these 3 were the most popular and well known, out of the 8. The bad guys in this final fight scene are, Johnny Wang Lung-Wei(Ma Fu-Yi)(no relation to Ma Chao-Hsing), Leung Kar-Yan(Chien San), Tsai Hung(Pao Yu-Lung, Flying Axe), Fung Hak-On(Chang Chin-Chiu), Chiang Tao(General Chen Wen-Yao) and His twin henchmen, Teng Chiang-Mei(bodyguard) and Teng Chiang-Ying(bodyguard#2). This folks, is a great movie, great acting, and great action. This clip doesn't even give you any clue to the rest of the movie except that the whole movie is a classic. This movie was directed by the Legendary Chang Cheh, you know Him, he was also the director of "The Five Deadly Venoms". Enjoy.
