I bought myself a Temu Leather Die Cutting Machine for £75 after the first purchase £25 off.

The same machine is advertised multiple times from different vendors claiming wacky discounts saying the original price was over £900 in one case, so don't go by % discount alone.

It's much heavier and better made than expected (!) and does a decent job of cutting through leather using shop bought blade-embedded dies.

The online documentation says it can impart 1.5 ton, which it does using a lever and cam arrangement. Having worked in industry, I've got no reason to doubt the pressure it can exert to be fair to them.

The can of Vimto is shown to give you an idea of scale, we've all seen the items people have received from Temu that are only fit for use in a dolls house.

I found I had to reposition and re-cut at times where the blade didn't go all the way through, but I was using slightly dull, damaged blades that sometimes left a fluffy edge.

Being Temu, I expected much lower quality to be honest, although the finish does remind you in places.

Poor rust proofing and paint quality on the upper plate was the most obvious, as well as a smear of machine oil.
