"Blade Squadron, Parts 1 & 2, are part of a 5 episode anthology written by David J. Williams & Mark S. Williams, originally appearing in Star Wars Insider #149 and #150. It was inspired by artwork depicting an unused battle scene from Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and the story focuses on a squadron of B-wing starfighters on a suicide mission during the Battle of Endor.

Story Summary:
The Battle of Endor is near. In preparation for the up-coming battle, Blade Squadron has recently been refitted with the new A/SF-01 B-Wing Assault Starfighter - more commonly referred to as the "B-Wing."

Wing Commander Adon Fox must lead Blade Squadron on a suicide mission against the Devastator in support of Rebel Command's overall battle plan to engage and destroy the Death Star II, which is currently under construction and in orbit around Endor's moon.
