সপ্তাহের ব্যাবধানে কেজিতে ৩০ টাকা পর্যন্ত বেড়েছে মুরগির দাম। বিক্রেতাদের দাবি, চাহিদা অনুযায়ী আমদানি কম থাকায় দাম বেড়েছে। তবে সবররাহ বেশি থাকায় কমেছে সবজির দাম।চট্টগ্রামে কেজিতে ২০ টাকা বেড়ে দেশি মুরগি বিক্রি হচ্ছে ৬শ টাকায়, ৪০ টাকা বেড়ে সোনালী মুরগী বিক্রি হচ্ছে ৩৬০ টাকায় এবং ২০ টাকা বেড়ে ব্রয়লার মুরগি বিক্রি হয় ২১০ টাকায়। বরিশালে গত সপ্তাহে ১৭০ টাকা কেজির ব্রয়লার মুরগী এ সপ্তাহে বিক্রি হচ্ছে ১৯৫ থেকে ২০০ টাকায়। ৩০০ টাকার সোনালী ৩২০ টাকা কেজি দরে বিক্রি হচ্ছে। তবে কমেছে সবজি, আলু ও পেঁয়াজের দাম।
The price of chicken has increased by up to 30 BDT per kilogram within a week. Sellers claim that the price hike is due to lower imports compared to demand. However, vegetable prices have decreased due to abundant supply.
In Chattogram, local chicken is being sold at 600 BDT per kg (up by 20 BDT), Sonali chicken at 360 BDT per kg and broiler chicken at 210 BDT per kg.In Barishal, broiler chicken, which was 170 BDT per kg last week, is now being sold at 195–200 BDT per kg. Sonali chicken has risen from 300 BDT to 320 BDT per kg. However, the prices of vegetables, potatoes, and onions have decreased.
