BLIND TASTING - Smith V Devereux Project 2 - Who's Wine Will Win?

Today we're joined by Certified Sommelier Natalie Bartlett and Vinoshares CEO and Co-founder Jake Corbin to run a blind tasting of Smith Devereux's Smith v Devereux Project 2.

Smith Devereux is run by founders Steve Smith and Ian Devereux White along with winemaker Brett Adams. They create fantastic wines out of the Napa Valley with a tenacity for quality, consistency, complexity, and accessibility. Their sustainable vineyards produce amazing varietals like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and their renowned blends.

The Smith V Devereux Project is a limited bottling of two handcrafted wines in a custom box that celebrates the friendship and partnership of owners Steve and Ian.They snagged some of their favorite wine from barrels of the current vintage and worked in secret with winemaker Brett Adams, to create what each of them believes to be the best possible blend. This friendly competition has become a yearly occurence, and we wanted to throw our hat in the ring to choose the "winner" and give them the Vinoshares stamp of approval.
